Youtube Instant, inspired by Google Instant, is a website that allows users to search the YouTube video database as they type. Ferross is currently a computer science student at Stanford University and a software engineer intern at Facebook.

Jawed Karim | YouTube

He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign earning a Bachelor degree in Computer Science in 2004. He is the co-founder of YouTube along with Chad Hurley and Steve Chen also fellow PayPal employees. Karim has launched a venture fund called Youniversity Ventures with the goal of helping university students and former students to develop and launch there business ideas. On Saturday, April 23, 2005 at 8:27PM Jawed uploaded YouTube's first video entitled "Me at the zoo".
